AVAX, a major player in the European infrastructure and energy sector, has reaffirmed its commitment to local communities in Romania through a meaningful act of social solidarity. During the “Balul Florilor” (Flowers Ball) charity event held on May 23, 2025, by the Rotary Club Deva, AVAX officially donated a specially equipped vehicle for the transport of individuals in wheelchairs to the Municipality of Deva.
This initiative goes beyond symbolic gestures, offering a practical and much-needed solution for improving mobility and accessibility for people with disabilities. The adapted vehicle will serve to transport individuals to hospitals, schools, and social care centers, thus promoting equal access to essential public services and a more independent daily life.
A Greek-based company with a strong presence across Southeastern Europe, AVAX is currently leading one of Romania’s most significant energy infrastructure projects – the reconstruction and modernization of the Mintia power plant. Through this donation, AVAX shows that large-scale infrastructure investments can and should be paired with sustainable social engagement.

The event also marked the launch of a new initiative by Rotary Club Deva: fundraising for an Integrated Therapy Center dedicated to children with autism spectrum disorders – a project that may benefit in the future from the support of visionary partners such as AVAX.
